After the show, it was back to Yokohama but this time, the station was almost empty.

Around 1630 we walked on over to Thumbs Up to set up for our first show here in Japan.

I’m happy to read that you enjoyed your performance at Thumbs Up, we will be seeing you two perform there next week and I have recruited friends to help ’round out the club with a Japanese bass player enjoying you guys “live” for his first time (1975/6 was mine). My sweet wife and I will catch you two tonight q, which is across the street from #########—the big music store where I buy the fingerpicks that I am learning to use as I try to learn fingerpicking. I would really like to see how far/deep/whatever you wear your fingerpicks, Jorma, if you would be so kind. Anyway, it will be wonderful to see and hear you tonight.
