Not bad eh?
Meanwhile, back on the farm, even though we have wintry mix today, Spring was evidenced by birds earlier and by Late Models in the Mall… when I was getting my haircut… Before the FPR, I used to sponsor one of these behemoths.

Go fast... turn left

If you're not the lead dog... the view is always the same!
That’s it for now… gotta walk Maverick, Dog Of Destiny…
Dear Jorma,
you guys work too hard!! LOL! See you at FPR in a few weeks!!
Best,
Cyndy
And what a great plan, it is!
(I don’t mind if some would rather go to “Malachy’s Bar”/ a.k.a. here as “Stinky’s”.)
But for Joe and I, as well as anybody else who would like to join us:
we will be meeting and eating at a fine dining establishment, for Happy Hour in the bar/lounge area there.
I’m talking great food and half-price appetizers from their regular dining menu.
Half-price drinks: wine, beer and mixed or frozen Margaritas, freshly prepared.
Nice, clean bathrooms (the ladies’ room is so clean and there is always a vase of fresh roses, on the vanity in front of the mirror area. )
I would never steer any of you wrong: we are taking it up to the next level.
P.S.:
If you folks have not seen it yet, PBS is airing tonight:
“Israel: The Royal Tour”, with the Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.
Not to be missed.
@Joe in Dc
Don’t know where you guys will be but I just have this dream you will stop by to visit Marty when he does the Slick benefit next friday the 14th

Yes. The 2014 NYC museum, food, and tuna weekend is coming to the beacon soon. I am in charge of Ms. Jacobs ticket and she is in charge of picking out some appropriate culture and cuisine. That’s a plan
WAAAAY MORE!!!
I don’t have the facts/stats on that but from what I know about those bands still touring:
It would be safe to say, yes they have done more gigs.
@Todd E
At this point, has Tuna has done more gigs than any other band that’s still around since the 1960s? I look forward to welcoming Jorma & Barry to South Florida later this year!
Teresa, of Teresa and Larry@johno
@Barbara Jacobs
Teresa who? I missed that.
Of course, John B.
Joe in D.C. is going to be there (and whomever else has expressed interest in checking-out a museum before the show).@John B
I actually have a much better, nicer place, to meet for eats and drinks, before the show: a very nice restaurant in MidTown East where they have half-priced appetizers and drinks (from 3pm-6pm, Monday-Saturday)
we can meet there and then head uptown to the Met (for freebie-Friday, pay-as-you-wish). Let’s say we pick a couple of exibits /galleries and check it out (for even one hour) then head across Central Park, for the show.
That’s the basic plan, and Joe from D.C. (Bless his heart) will be ordering a ticket for me, so I can sit with him. I’ll ask Teresa if she can come downstairs after the show, to say Hello, outside the Beacon. Good time for all.
Barbara I hope that you have blocked off the time on your calendar for our art museum outing in November or December when Tuna comes to town.
Time to dust the bike off and go for a long cruise with Zach.
hot tuna baby
Jorma and Hot Tuna are the hardest working/touring in the music business.
They defied the Artic Vortex and played their shows, even while being sick for some of those shows.
In the “Because I can never let things like it, go unstated department:
Trending on google today:
check out the “amazing tribute to 95-year-old World War Two vet, Joe Bell”.
Hot Tuna is very much in demand ! That is quite a list of shows Jorma . Rest up and I will see at the Ranch in a few weeks.
excellent tour…glad i got to ctach you at Birchmere in VA….
Not a bad couple of months work.

Hey Jorma, Dis the shirts fit you and the guys? Go SEAHAWKS! Great water song that night. Enjoy your time off. Thanks Again.
Hello Jorma!
Used to be a neighbor during your years in Woodstock. I hitched a ride with you into Joe’s Garage in Bearsville a couple of times when my car broke down.
Happy to see you are still thriving. Perhaps I’ll cross paths with you again soon.
Whew! I get tired just reading the concert list. You guys definitely deserve a long relaxing vacation. I’m just glad I saw you @ Show 2 @ Westhampton Beach – seemed like it was last year.
Have a great time in Jamaica.
