Zach and I wait for the bus in Iowa City
After the great gig in Iowa City, we burned it on up to the Twin Cities for two nights and four shows at the Dakota in Minneapolis.

A yummy meal at Jerusalem
We wandered down Nicelolett street and stumbled across the Jerusalem eatery where we had… well a really great dinner!

Nick... from Time For Three
On our way out of the hotel to the Dakota, we ran into Nick from Time For Three. The guys played the night before us and are on their way to the East Coast for the Ram’s Head in Annapolis and the Birchmere in Arlington. Cool guys… cool music!

Faces on the wall
Good times in the Twin Cities… left early this morning. Sleeping in Hammond, Indiana tonight and home for a night tomorrow, then off to Kentucky to Greaves Hall, Northern Kentucky University. Then Jack and I are back at the Fur Peace Station on Saturday for show and I will be performing Sunday during the day at the Arts And Minds Festival… free folks… at the good old Fur Peace Ranch
That’s all folks… badea badea badea (Looney Tunes)!
Well Jorma it turns out it’s Christmas in July for me tonight. Put “Holiday Marmalade” on and got the headphones cooking. Big smile. Any chance we could get this number into one of the shows? Maybe one of those great old jams with Cipollina and friends could make a return.
What a one more super Hot Tuna rocking night with Jorma and Barry and Jack at their unequivocal best.
Rock Them All Real High Tonight Tuna!
Steady As She Goes Jorma!
The real difference between two shows and two sets is hoping that one of the shows is not sold out
Your son is so tall and handsome – just like his father. Can’t wait to see you out on the east end at the Talkhouse.
I love so much You and Zach there Jorma! It sets your heart wide open, thousands of horizons.
Went to a great show on Monday at 7:00 at Dakota Jazz Club. Terrific venue to see great musicians perform and enjoying the banter back and forth. This,to me, is the perfect size vennue to enjoy Hot Tuna to the max. Not a big fan of 2 shows on same night. I felt the comflort level growing as Jorma shared a few stories on prior performances and would have enjoyed a bit more of that. I’m sure the crowd felt the same way ; just a special moment in time. Anyway, I loved and appreciate the talent and skill that everyone showed. Hope you guys are back next year.
