No, too many Jims.
Hah! Absolutely right!
Never too many joe’s Jim.
This is like a board meeting of Too Many Joes…:)
Sad to see you were so close to Asheville and didn’t get to stop by!. We would love to see you guys together at the Grey Eagle. I loved the March solo show and am anticipating another show there soon.
ALL
I had the chance to drive down for the electric show in Durham, NC last Saturday night and then also see the Jorma/Barry acoustic show in Leesburg VA Sunday night. 2 great shows …thanks Jorma and HFT.
A bit of a contrast with the 2 shows, but both were great!!!!!!!!
Had first row seats in Leesburg VA and had my 26 year old son with me who is an audio engineer. His 2nd Tuna show….He thought it was a good ride, but of course, due to his profession he had some comments on the sound…hah
Looking forward to more. Just got a row B ticket for electric HFT in State College PA in July…..sounds good ……….
Dude, those set lists make me drool.
Hot Tuna…the most versatile, under-the-radar band ever.
I hope I get to hear some of those sets one of these days.
You guys have so much material to choose from.
It’s awesome!

Thanks to you and Jack for indulging me after the Durham show. You both were so gracious in signing that mag for me. I have ordered a frame for it and will display it alongside my liberated-from-a-theater-storeroom movie poster from “Help” and some dynamite Fillmore West concert art. If I can figure out a way to do it, I’ll forward you photo evidence that I didn’t do it to put on E_Bay or some other jive. BTW, I also grew up in DC area, about ten years behind you. Thanks again.
PS You’re only pretty as you feel.
I went last year Bob and had a great time. Lots of interesting things to check out and some great people to get to know. If you haven’t see Its A Beautiful before then you will be in for a real treat. As for Jormas performance it is real casual and you can just pull up a chair right in front or anywhere you like and enjoy some fine accoustic music. If you are on the fence about going and you have the time then by all means don’t miss it.
Thanks for coming back to Leesburg Jorma! My wife and I are always the youngest folks at the show but I love seeing you guys anyway. We’ve seen you at GMU as Hot Tuna Blues, Electric Tuna with G.E. Smith, Acoustic Tuna, and now just you and Barry. No wrong way to see you guys! Hopefully I can catch another show again this summer! Great vibes and good times.
I saw Larry, David Bromberg, Bele Fleck and Abigail Washburn, 4/10 @ the Keswick Theater. Alot of talent there. Both sets were accompanied with each other. Many highlights along with Larry’s “Police Dog Blues”. Thanks for allowing me to share.
Is there more info on your free concert at the Ranch in July? Is there an attendance limit? Do you need a ticket? Nice gesture by the way. Hope this isn’t an April Fool me. You got me with that Chicago, Hopkorv~Yellow Fever gag. Your Pal
Hey Bob… This is our Arts And Minds weekend… I will be doing a free set next to the Psylodelic Museum on the afternoon of Saturday 25th of July. That evening is a ticketed event in the concert hall featuring It’s A Beautiful Day. Sunday evening is another ticketed event in the good old Fur Peace Station featuring Paul Barrere and Fred Tackett… yes that would be the Little feat Guys. Tickets for the evening events are going fast. If you want to join us for Arts And Minds Festival and see me Saturday afternoon… just show up. The festival continues on Sunday and I’ll be there, but probably won’t play.
Come on down!
420, I just hear what that is! My friend celebrate her apartment smell tasty and very foggy (like outside today. But taste much better for fun. Deliver chicken Kiev, kasha and potato latkes and cheese blintzes)
Always good to see Jack is back! Great photos. Excellent set list(es?).
Every bowling ball has a story.
For safe drive home to you guys.
