The Monkey is a great place to play… and a great place to listen to music.

A shot of the room... Jack's beautiful Diana bass in the foreground
Yep… for all of us Wizard Of Oz fans, there’s every kind of monkey and witch a feller could want!

Bring'em on

And your little dog too..........
Larry and Teresa did a fabulous set, as they always do! Jack and I joined them for their final number… Keep Your Lamps Trimmed And Burning. Teresa brought down the house as she always does. It’s such a treat to play this, one of my favorite songs, with her front and center!
Jack and I took the stage after set break and here is our list:

Hey, Zach: Barbara J. here again.
I just gave you a compliment. I don’t examine your inner-most thoughts about what t-shirt you choose to wear. You look nice in those photos and the photos are very nice.
My compliments to you and Phil, for taking the nice photos.
My comment was directed to you and not intended to “be kidding” anybody.
Thanks for posting those nice photos, Jorma.
Come on you got to be kidding me – I’m pretty sure Zach didn’t say “I think I’ll match the color of the bus or marquee” Just sayin…Great weather for Cape Cod.
Jorma it sure is nice to see Too Many Years and New Song for the Morning getting some love on the setlist.

So, today we are hosting another charity event here in East Hampton:
The sky is true blue, not a cloud in sight. The warmth of the sun shines down on us all. 70 people coming here to donate $2,500 each and we give them all of the best food, service, and entertainment.
Our “walk-in music” is the debut album : “Larry Campbell & Teresa Williams”.
It sets the mood for a beautiful night. We have a “goody-bag” and have included
their new CD. We put a card with it: “Please play it for your friends, family and at your gatherings. Enjoy it in good health.”
You just can’t go wrong with this new CD.

Zach, I like how you are always color coordinated; with a blue t-shirt to match the bus and an orange t-shirt to match the marquee. Very nice !
Pretty outstanding line-up of musicians/shows on that there marquee. Still terrified of those dang flying monkeys! Looking forward to HT at FPR!
Jorma when I look at the remaining dates that you are committed to this year, and I trust there will be a few more added, I am just amazed. Without a doubt you have to be one of the hardest working musicians that I know of. Thanks for getting out there and playing in small town America as well as her biggest cities.I will see you Thursday in Newark.
Be well;

Keep them trimmed and Burnin.@Steve Levenson
Newark takes the cake – Dave Mason and Hot Tuna – one amazing show. The show of the Year so far. Would love to see that one. Used to be I’d travel anywhere within a 300 mile radius – now going to Jersey is a hassle.
Years of nightmares from those monkeys.Gonna keep my lights on all night.
Edit: Politician infestation.
Dave Mason, and Dr John! Perfect antidote to the current New Hampshire infestation 🙂
