Onward to Homer, New York and the Center For The Arts.
That’s a danged Methodist Church, ain’t it?
Charlie Rose got the treatment:
Not one to ask a question in one or two sentence, Rose got cut off/answered by Putin:
“I already answered that question four/five times!”
(Which made me think that the production would have benefitted from a backing track of the song “Four Five Times”)
“I just mentioned this, I see I’m forced to repeat it!”
“CAN YOU PLEASE NOT INTERRUPT ME AND LET ME SPEAK?!”
That’s his demeanor during an interview with perhaps the most experienced modern-day interviewer of political figures/Presidents/Prime Ministers (and quite a few
tyrants).
The best that America’s voters can do is some thinking:
Bernie vs. Putin? Um, o.k. — if you want to throw Bernie into that lion’s den.
Trump vs. Putin? : Could end up in a bitch-slapping match.
Jim, what do you think the “Ray Donovan” writers and show-runners will come up with for next season? I saw Dash Minok being interviewed on t.v. today. He said that the filming for next season will resume in Feb.
Let’s review:
Mickey is on a run for the Mexican border.
Ray broke down and went into the church confession box.
Mrs. Donavan seems to have a deep love for Terry.
Ray’s out of control daughter has packed up a bag and her guitar and ran away from home.
Bunchie is expecting a BunchieBaby with his new wife.
Ray’s son seems to have run out of a story line (he’s hiding from his screwy
family somewhere?)
I miss Elliot Gould, he inhabited the “Ezra” character so well.
I want Ray to pull himself together so he can be the next Sect.Of State.
Ray Donovan vs. Putin.
@jim hitchcock
I enjoyed what I saw of last season and had to catch up on some episodes. Season 2 is over, it seems,. It was a good with all of those great actors and performances. The plot lines are absurd but the show is well-written.
The full Charlie Rose interview with Putin is airing on Charlie Roses’ show, full hour yesterday and another, ooh! right now! Not to be missed. At times you can see that Rose is nervous.@jim hitchcock
Hi Barbara. Ray Donovan was fantastic this year.
The power plant that was going to be demolished for the new football stadium? I used to live across the street from it. That’s Palos Verdes in the background.

Hey Jim
Barbara J. here.
Don’t miss watching 60 Minutes tonight.
First up at bat is Putin. Just when you think it can’t any crazier;
next up is Trump.
(Trump said that the wall he’s planning to build on the Mexican border
“will be a great wall.” There’s already one of those in China but Trump plans to kick China’s butt. His wall will be the greatest wall.)
NYC had a very big week with the U.N. Assembly and the pope.
I like the pope and I call him “The Opay”, with all respect.
He’s not a “Rock Star”, he’s more like J.C., a “Super Star”.
He loves bananas. I make a delicious banana smoothie with almond milk and I throw in some blueberries for good measure. Blend with ice in my Nutra Ninja blender and I get many compliments on my smoothies.
I’m thinking of sending the pope a Nutra Ninja and including my recipe.
Maybe I will get an invitation to a private tour of The Vatican Museum.
If the church sold just a fraction of the treasures they hold within it, to museums in the capitalist countries or private collectors, they could raise enormous $$$$$.
Maybe share that wealth with Italy because times are tough there too.
Gotta go – it’s time to watch “Ray Donovan” on HBO.
Tuna Trio is on stage at 1:25pm next saturday at the Banjo stage in
Golden Gate Park
Sandwiched between Laurie Lewis and Gillian Welch
all the times are posted on the hardly strictly website.
Here’s hoping for a set of JA and a 45 minute “Feels So Good>Invitation”
Wish I could be at GGP, Joey, but my vacation isn’t until following week. Am seriously considering going to Pittsburgh on 10/13 to see Mark Knopfler, though!
Jorma an Jack you forgot to put Barbeque King in the Buffalo setlist ! Great show ! Thanks for stopping by our wonderful city !
Cannot wait for 11.21 11.22 for Jorma’s 75 Birthday. Wondering what special guests might show up.
A special Happy Birthday wish for Jorma: Health, Happiness and Peace!
Love to know the Tuna time at Golden Gate

These set lists are super. What a deep well of Music to select from you have.
Jorma, question please?
Do you have any idea what time Hot Tuna will play next Saturday at Golden Gate Park?
I’m having trouble getting that info.
Love the heavy Gary Davis selection from last night’s setlist. Looking forward to Folsom!
Rock Them All High Tonight Jorma!
