Mother and daughter...

Just a short note on this Mother’s day… There are a lot of Moms out there and we would all be nowhere without them. Vanessa, you rule! Izze and I honor you. For all the other Moms out there, this day (and all days) is for you. Enjoy what here in Southeast Ohio, is a beautiful… beautiful day!

Dads… pay attention!

Onward with love!

    Thank you Jorma
Just got back a couple of days ago from Fort Polk, LA where my son in law is stationed and I got to witness the birth of my fourth grandchild, a baby boy
and my son who I haven’t seen in a year and a half that is stationed in Hawaii is there for training and surprised me at the hospital…good times indeed….
    I have been truly blessed…
Take care and looking forward to the show in a couple days.
    🙂

I’m once again sitting in my office at the Adolescent Residential Program here in Staten Island, this time on Mothers Day. Your words reminded me to have my clients all call their Mothers today. I think as sad as addiction is, the fact that so many of the young men here [14-18] have had so many serious life problems so early on in their lives is almost heartbreaking. I think to my self how fortunate I was to have both parents in my lives until my mid 50’s, and how far I had come to appreciating the sacrifices they made for their 5 children [better late than never].
Putting that aside for a moment, life is a balance. I’m looking forward to seeing you next Saturday. I’m a man of simple tastes; A road trip with Donna to see a great show, my two favorite things in life, it doesn’t get much better than that. Enjoy your family today, its amazing how fast your children grow up.
