I’ve been home for over a week now and the weather has been interesting to say the least. These late summer days just seem to slip through your fingers… something you would like to hold onto, it’s there… and then it’s gone. Got to ride my motorcycle into town tonight… brisk going in… jacket coming home. Just makes me think as Summer bleeds into Autumn. Someday we all take that last ride… no telling when that might be so it’s up to us to make every one memorable.
Nothing like riding with friends. Last week it was with Jerry B. and tonight with Ted S. Yeah… it’s all about the ride.
May we all ride… ride free to the end of the earth!
Amein…
Onward!
Amen to that !!!!!

Amen Brother!

Still we ride (for me a bicycle)
I have a parade that passes in front of my house on the 4th of July. I’m pretty lucky.
Watch out for deer on that bike…its the young ones you have to worry about, they sprint across when least expected. Don’t know about your area, but here in upstate NY – they are everywhere. Be careful & go slow and look to the sides!
What a life – got a guitar ranch – a beautiful family that loves you – you got thousands of people waiting for you to play in their town. And when you wanna get away you jump on your bike and go for a ride – Jorma you have it all!
Seems appropriate that I should celebrate Vin Scully announcing his return for next yeat on Jorma’s blog 🙂
Enjoy these beautiful days Jorma. Don’t ride myself, something about going head over heals into a briar patch when I was 13. Many moons ago, I’m accident prone, know your limits, right? But I feel the passion. Rock on Cap’n, can’t wait for Lockn.
Riding free gets even better as you crest the last hill and round the last bend coming home after a time away. These ephemeral moments slide away like wet rope; grab it for all it’s worth and haul it in my friend. By any measure, it is good.
enjoy your time home
