Yesterday we started to drive from Boulder to Woodlands, Texas… which is outside of Houston. About five in the afternoon, we stopped in Dalhart, Texas for some delicious Mexican food.

Up this morning… a free breakfast at the hotel and then on the road to Woodlands, Texas.

Well, we made it safe and sound. Tomorrow I play The Big Barn here in Woodland. The net gaggle of shows will be me solo… This could be big fun!

Hey Jorma, gonna catch you at the Tally Ho in Leesburg, VA on 5 March. Venue shows only you, but your “On Tour” page shows you with Barry Mitterhoff. Are you solo for this show or accompanied by “Mr. Mandolin?”

I’ve seen Jorma probably 15 times over the years, never w/o Jack now thatI come to think about it. Teresa and Larry were a revelation to me. They really elevated Jorma’s game in my opinion.
Best Jomra show I have ever seen in Denver this past week. Really enjoyed it!

Until next time Jorma! You are always welcome in Colorado!

How about wearing a cowboy hat at one of your Texas gigs, Jorma?
That would be cool and post a picture. Tell us more about the road.

As ever – enjoy the blog in general and the photos in particular. Had many a good meal in Dalhart.

During the time I lived in Tulsa made many trips back/forth to Denver. Love crossing the OK/TX panhandle by a variety of routes. Like crossing a semi-civilized desert – the arid high plains. Amazingly beautiful country in its own stark way. Perhaps not beautiful like California or Maine coasts – but stunning in its way, especially to a native New Englander.
