Moco loco... yes? No?

Well… Hawaii is indeed a long way from Meigs County, Ohio… but we made it and so did my guitar and luggage. How good does it have to get? Last night after we offloaded at the hotel, we took a little walk and found a delicious hole in the wall Thai restaurant. Delicious… cheap too.
Being six hours out of whack, sleep was intermittent but there was some and I feel pretty good today. The boys and I walked around the corner to the Like Like Drive In Restaurant for breakfast… yummy. Tomorrow it’s the moco loco for me. Today… just trying to get acclimatized.
More will be revealed!
It’s better to try to find the similarities among us than the things that might keep us isolated from each other.

On the topic of paying taxes every person can speak for them self. If you are called rich that is an assumption by people. There are rich who pay taxes with no complaints now and in the past years. For anybody here want to lump all people who work hard for earning money in the small view of others. I Can give tickets for two on next plane to Ukraine and see how they like the results of things going very bad…

The pope is not the devil and the rich are not always against the poor. The People who pay big taxes some give much money to help the poor with no tax write off If you have money and pay taxes in each state of the usa you have a big tax bill to pay. Then each person can decide if they want to give money to help the people who need help even if there is no tax deduction. There was a pope many centuries in the past he went against the Kings. if you know world history you will know of that pope. Nobody called him a rock star because that was centuries before there was rock or people called stars.

If only some realized that progressives want higher taxes for the ones with the $$$$.
Our system has been favoring the rich, & the Corporations for many decades.
We need to pay to rebuild our outdated infrastructure & invest in renewable energy sources before its too late, not wars.
The CEO’s skim the cream while the poor struggle.
Sorry, we’ve been headed down the wrong path for a while. There was a time taxes here in this country were much much higher. Guess who didn’t like paying them? The rich.
Now it is over the hour later and I think that Jim is still alive and well.
In Ukraine if he can get on internet to post that political comment within one hour later he will be arrested. When he is arrested the electricity in his house will be shut. The water maybe will be turned off and if it is still working on it will be not very good to drink. His neighbors from next doors or the same street some will turn against his family.
It will be very bad. Bad like never imagine it can be.
Every American has the rights some don’t appreciate how good the rights are to have. Here are 2 voters for Bernie Saunders. He earned the right to run for the President election. They have the rights to vote for Bernie.
Putin likes Bernie because he will pet Bernie like a pussycat if Bernie is the President. The world of politics is complicated and America without the moneyed people who work and pay the big taxes would not be good for anybody.
The people who earn money pay the big income taxes federal state and city ( in some states only federal income tax. In some states no sales tax.) They pay the property taxes for what they own.
I send my income tax in this year, it is only a couple of pages. I get some money for return. My friend shows me her income tax it is many pages heavy document. She pays a lot of money in tax, income and property with no return.
She does not complain. She pays because America needs the taxpayers. She comes from a poor family they were immigrants and she work her way up. This is possible in America.
Bernie will not have his Tender Vittles to eat if no taxpayers.
Don’t go to Vatican City because that is an alternative government in alternative city. That does not mean that Italy is not beautiful and Rome is not a good place. I am just an immigrant from Ukraine so I love America for all it is great and the bad is not so bad for me in the compared. I am maybe not enlightened enough.
If you want to go to Ukraine to see for yourself how bad life can be I will give you the contacts information for some of my friends. They are still alive from the war. That is true for this minute but maybe can change in the next minute.@jim hitchcock

This doesn’t really belong here, and I beg Jorma’s forbearance, but this is something I truly feel:
The weird thing is, you know I don’t have any kind of religion complex, period, and Catholicism, while having it’s heroes (Oscar Romero is one example), has a lot to answer for over the centuries. It’s always come across as just an alternative government, sometimes good, sometimes bad, primarily acting in it’s own best interests. This dude, this new pope, though, he is a rock star, in much the same way as Bernie Sanders is to the more enlightened American populace. Just think for a moment all of the moneyed interests he has managed to piss off. Rock on, Pope Francis.
Oh yes, go early and eat great banana pancakes. Take Jack he can eat many pancakes.
Also go for the places with the “plate lunch” and seared Ahi.
For a great diner breakfast in Maui go to “Tasty Crust” for pancakes and make loco moco. It open early at 6am and cash only. This is where the local people go for ohana feeling.

Happy Father’s Day Jorma! Parenthood is full of rich rewards, especially, like we touched on previously, being an “older” parent as in starting late in life, gives us a more defined perspective. But, we must sometimes remind ourselves that we young once too!

Yes Jorma! That is the start of a beautiful trip.
When you get to Maui Barbara can give you some informations on the places to go for eating with the locals.
She has a house there she bought it and made the renovations but she does not stay there many times.
Mostly her friends from California stay there because they don’t want to waste the water in Los Angeles. Her friends from Arizona go to stay there because they don’t like the temperatures for 110 degrees in the shade. Her friends from Florida stay there because they don’t like the hurricane seasons. Her friends from Texas stay there because it is very hot many months of the year. Her friends from Chicago stay there because it is very frozen cold.
This is why maybe it is a good place to visit but if you live there you will have many houseguesting.
