Then it was down to the Warehouse in Fairfield, Connecticut. We had a rockin’ good time! Then right after show we drove to D.C. where we will be at the Hamilton tomorrow. Today, however, is Thanksgiving and I am thankful for so much. My son Zach was able to join us for the bountiful repast which we also had at the Hamilton.

This better not be our last supper!

    JORMA / JACK / BARRY
In efforts to keep the traditions of Hot Tuna in the family and generational
My son , a DJ at UVM ‘s WRUV 90.1 FM
Just blasted “Sea Child ” ….
Over the green mountains of Burlington Vt and across the
    waters of Lake Champlain !!
Sometimes DJs will take their dads request – (also picking up the rent & tuition helps too)
    Peace to all

Hey Jorma…many thanks to you and Jack for the rumblin’ rock and roll in Stowe. I got a chance to see the show with my big brother; he would bring back Hot Tuna records from college and we would blast them loud in the basement back in mid 70s…Hit Single #1 was a particular favorite and you thumped that number out in Vermont. Keep it up and best to you and yours.

    Hey Jorma,

What a great picture of you and Zach. Hope you all had a wonderful holiday. I went upstate to 54 inches of snow, it was beautiful and I also got to leave it.. the shows were outstanding and the Beacon was classic as usual, one for the books. It was so nice seeing everyone again. Enjoy the holidays with your family and friends…
    See you at the shows.
    Safe travels.

Now Jorma switches gears and takes out the acoustic guitar and slows it down a bit. Can’t wait to see him next week. I just love Jorma alone and acoustic. It’s a whole different vibe. He is an American treasure. Hopefully we can hear more from the “Ain’t In No Hurry” album”(I just love it) along with the classics like “New Song” and “Genesis”.

Wow, I have been blessed; I got to see the electric Hot Tuna show at Spruce Peak in Stowe, Vermont, and another great performance it was. This makes about 20 +/-; acoustic, electric, and Jorma solo, shows I have managed to attend over the many years. The show at Stowe VT was particularly special because I brought a friend who had never seen Hot Tuna; in fact it was only his second time at a music event, and that was Meatloaf about 20 years ago.
Then during the break I had the opportunity to ask one of the stage-hands if he would be willing to give my (demo) CD to Jorma. He said he would do so gladly and he did so promptly. I do hope Jorma has a moment in time to hear it. The CD has five ‘folk-gospel’ songs and a poem I recently recorded at our local public access TV station (NEK-TV Newport VT). All of the material therein was written and sung (or spoken) by me (A Capella) but I hope to add some instruments soon. I may sign up for the online lessons offered, and if I can somehow finagle it, go to Fur Peace and get some education. I have a lot more material (lyrics & poems) to arrange into songs.
I have been enjoying Airplane/Tuna since ’73 or ’74. I want to express my heartfelt thank you to Hot Tuna and all who have made this event possible.

Post was lost earlier due to length,I guess, but I think Carey and me would do a meal in Italy with Carlo
someday soon, because how fun would that be?

Joey could fly us over in his private jet, how fun would that be?

@Carey Georgas </a We all live our little slivers of life, Carey, but it's fun to think outside our little circles of existence. We can't all be storytellers like JK, but we can enjoy the ride.

Man, now that Thanksgiving is over, I need to head to Italy and scarf a meal with Carlo 🙂
