Our name in lights on Broadway!
Well of course the Beacon came first. I just couldn’t resist this one.
Hey, any time we get to play and people come to listen is a good day. That said, we sure look forward to the Beacon every year!

Yeah, all our ducks were in a row for this one. A special thanks to Roger MacNamee for the beautiful tie dye Gibson SST.

Winter is definitely on the horizon. A chill in the air for sure. Today we head out to Stowe, Vermont and the Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center.
More will be revealed for sure!
Onward…
My whole feng shui is off kilter between the beacon and eggs and tuna before thanksgiving. Everybody have a blessed Thursday and remember the warriors protecting their home land Send them your love.
Peace
Love All Ways
We came on wooden ships blown by the roaring winds of electric guitar feedback to a new land…Let us sit down and feast together in reverence of our new nation…
Happy Thanksgiving to The Kaukonens and the extended Tuna Nation.
G_d Bless America,
Regards,
Steve
@JB
Me too!!
Hot Tuna and Thanksgiving go hand and hand. Had America’s Choice blasting in my truck yesterday as I ran errands. Truly a part of the soundtrack of my life!
I think that beautiful firebird fret board needs to soar the sounds of
“Invitation”. Happy Thanksgiving!
You’re making me miss the east coast!
In the Kingdom, Flying Clouds, and Feel So Good?? GREAT break-outs. Now…..please bring Electric Hot Tuna to the NC Mountains!! The Orange Peel? The Grey Eagle??
@rich l
To this day on Thanksgiving when I wake up there is this “presence” or “spirit” in the house-even after leaving my folks home 30 odd years ago. when I would visit them on Thanksgiving it was there and I must have taken it with me. I fully expect to stumble into the den to find my dad reading the NY Times with the Macy’s Parade on in the backround. It’s like my house has become my folks house, even with nobody else awake I can see, smell and hear those bygone days….I love it.
Ya’ll be careful up there in that weather. That’s more snow in a day than a southern man will see in a lifetime. Sounds like the tour has been a
rip-snorter so far, hope to see you soon in warmer climes.
@Matt
Yep, Hit Single #1 was the encore at the Beacon- capped a great concert!
Thanks for the Beacon show. I dug it.
Please play Flying Clouds at City Winery. What a treat to hear it again after all of these years.
Is there any scent much better than a slow cooking turkey permeating the house? My mom also usedto bake two apple and two pumpkin pies the Wednesday night before Turkey Day. We’d come home from college and be heading out to meet friends until the wee hours of the morning. My mom would issue a stern warning not to eat any of the pie until the next day.
Well I always justified slicing a big piece of the apple pie at 2 or 3 in the morning, washing it down with a big glass of milk, because technically it was the next day. I know we all like to brag about our moms cooking, but that apple pie was a slice of heaven on earth. I think she always took a secretive delight in seeing a piece or two of the pies missing the next morning.@Steve
This WAS a show for the ages. It doesn’t get any better,
All the reviews sure sound like the Beacon was a show for the ages……see you fellas Friday in DC!!! What’s that smell like turkey o baby??!!!
Hoping and praying The hot tuna gang will come to Sunny Florida this winter. Wishing you and your families have a great Thanksgiving. Thank you !stay warm
Great show Saturday at the Beacon.The trio can bring it,Justin has been a fantastic asset! Who was the young boy backstage rocking out? We could see him from our seats and really got a kick out of him. He definitely wasn’t a first timer. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours,see you at The Winery
Took my family to the show at the Beacon. Great time and met some old friend I have not seen since the Academy shows. Thank you.
Hey Jack, great eyebrow play’n.
Bacon was at the Egg, good job guys, have a great Thanksgiving and hope you have a good run of shows – check out the gondola at Stowe – pretty cool if its not cloudy – Cheers!
Guess I’ll have to wait until the Fillmore to have my ears ring 🙂
Great show at the Beacon, an annual Thanksgiving tradition! I love the Electric Trio format, Live Without a Net. Pure unadulterated Tuna.
Thank you for continuing to do what you do.
Thanks Jorma for a great show at the Beacon. My ears are still ringing. You guys are just incredible!
Ducks lay eggs, so it must have been the Beacon? haha. Does that make any sense?
Great show at the Beacon. The place was rocking wall to wall. Fun time.
There was also an encore after Funky # 7. Hit Single # 1 perhaps.
Cheers
Jorma, the title to this reflection – you ought to be shot!
