After the weekend at the Ranch with Spencer Bohren and Tim Reynolds I got ready to head for Salt Lake City… but first I must note a great solo show by Tim!

Tim is an amazing player and a great guy. Big shout out to Fluffy too!

Onward!
A very sad day indeed. So many good times. Saw the Allmans with Hot Tuna at the garden state arts center in Jersey back in June of 2000 (i think). Jorma came out during the Allmans set and played a couple of tunes.
The road does go on forever.
Damn, so long, Gregg Allman.
My first concert, at the Forum, I was 13 in ’69, Duane and Dickie front and center.
Was that you holding up the line Brian ?@Brian Doyle

Good to see you checking in Barbara

Rock on, Jorma!@carlo pagliano
Rock Them All High Tonight Jorma!
I was at the Costco check-out with my Bathing At Baxter’s tri-plane T-Shirt and the check-out guy said he liked the shirt. I told him I just got into the Airplane 2 years ago and he said “Ever hear of Hot Tuna?” I told him heck yeah and that Jorma had a website. He told me “I know. He’s got this place called the Fur Peace Ranch that he operates out of and teaches” etc. I’m sure we held the people up behind me. Before I left he shook my hand…
That’s what I’m talking about! The man has a “nasty cold” and still pulls off a 25 song show. A nasty cold for a 26 yr old ain’t nuthin’, but for a 76 year old, it’s a whole ‘nother thang. Speaks volumes about your conditioning and the power of doing what you love. An excellent testimony for all of us who are wending our way through the domain of cootdom. Take care of yourself, stay active, and live your passion. Onward, indeed!
I never realised you were that tall, Jorma!
So glad to hear your feeling better…
🙂
Have a great show and safe travels..
Tim Reynolds put on an outstanding show. Spencer was great as well. As for those dang colds, I dose up with Zicam (nasal) swabs at the first signs and I swear they work!!!
Pretty sure Myron locked you in, and went on missionary duty:

Yes its a dry heat but so is an oven and would not want to be there either..Hope you stay cool boys..Well Hot Tuna is cool where ever they go..
I’m so glad you’re feeling better Jorma.
It looks like you & Jack settled in nicely at the Egyptian.
Great, varied set lists.
Keep on Truckin’!
Of course the missing tune was the Ringo Bright Eyes Snow Guerilla Rampage Suite.
This set list has already become legendary.
Keep on trucking and maybe the cold was allergies , it’s been bad here in the east.
Peace
