Leaving for the Hot Tuna Show at the Great South Bay Music Festival at Shorefront Park on Sunday. We’re all sure looking forward to this. Yesterday I took Izze to meet her pals at Strouds Run and flew my drone a little bit.

The girls are the little ants moving around down there.

Muddy from the rain... but still beautiful!

Of course… the drone selfie…

Got the truck loaded, gonna grab some Z’s and head for the gig.

Onward indeed!

    Jim,
They last played Tripe Boogie at Bergen, NJ and Huntington, Long Island in May 2017. It was on my favorite Little Feat album, ‘Feats Don’t Fail Me Now’.

So between a lack of familiarity with all their song titles, and a trek to get food during Little Fest’s set so that I would not miss any of the precious hour that HT played, I cannot say. What I can say is that the music was familiar and had the vibe I remember from having seen the band years ago!

Saw Little Feat last night at the historic St. George (Where JacknJorma played last year).
    Here’s the amazing set list.

Would love to see Bill Payne play with the Boyz one of these days.

Curious, does Little Feat still do Tripe Boogie?

@John B And I’ve been looking for other takes on it, as well as Jorma’s thoughts and set list as well!

It was a great day…while the festival seemed to be possibly dangerously overcrowded (it was “sold out”), once we were able to get food and drink and settle in, it was great! I was fortunate to have a ticket that allowed me into a spot up close to the stage, and to be there during Hot Tuna’s performance was so much fun! The chemistry between Jorma and Jack is magical, and with Justin, the trio rocks. Every number was beautifully executed….it was sublime! Add Devon Allman, Little Feat and Dickey Betts and it’s all good! Our only regret was missing Kerry Kearney with Michael Falzarano, and Half Step, but that was due to being unable to move around through the crowds. All in all a beautiful day on the Great South Bay!

How was the day Susan? Awfully quiet here as I was looking forward to some feedback from those fortunate enough to attend. @Susan

Seeing Hot Tuna at GAMF a couple times were two real incredible experiences. A sunset during the set makes for quite an ethereal moment.
I wish I could have made it, but not to be.
I will get to see acoustic BY in Fla in Jan… and twice.
And those are complete length Tuna sets.
Can only go so long without my Tuna fix.
Thank God for all the live stuff available online. Got to listen to MY City Winery tonight after dropping my sweetheart of at the airport. Makes for an extra nice drive,
And keeps me from twitching out.
    Have a great show Jorma!
    Y’all are the greatest!
