We left at 0700 from Richmond, heading up here to Long Island. The bus had other ideas for us though and by the time we had the mechanical problems solved, it was almost ten pm by the time we got in. Nothing like a day off I always say.

Back on stage Friday night in Riverhead and the Suffolk Theater. Those are the good times!
The LSD King – Augustus Owsley Stanley III was legendary. You were the best. Allegedly he gave his high quality LSD to the Beatles and millions of others including me. His liquid acid was the best. Back in the 70’s I would do a drop onto my eyeball or put it into some lemonade. Electric Lemonade. Still have some. RIP.

Attended the Riverhead show. Jorma it was just an amazing show. I have seen many bands at this venue and this was simply the best. Your playing and voice sounded amazing in this room. The Martins sound great!!! Was all the way in the back so the mix was kind of lower 1st set but they seemed to turn it up a little 2cd set. I also moved up for the 2cd 1/2 of the 2cd set to 6th row center stage and wow what a difference in the sound. The mix was so much better than by the bar. They have these small speakers back there that are cool but it doesn’t come close to the mix in the theater. exceeded my expectations by a lot!!!
Thanks again for real good time out in Riverhead. Both sets were very well played. We hope the venue treated you kindly.I had quite a few friends and family there.watching from the 4th row things were great up front.The occasional shout out by a few fans gave it little more bang,..seemed to be a little noisy back by the bar, but you pay your money , and if thats what you want to do so be it.For me its always a treat watching/listening to Jorma/Tuna from close range. Once upon a time I would take the shows for granted.Now I consider each one special, and they are. I took an old friend along who had not seen Jorma since 89. My buddy Bob sat down by me for a bit,and soaked it in, was grinning ear to ear.. Thanks again Jorma for coming out to the east end and playing.I don’t know how you keep doing it.God bless you, be well, and yes life is good..hope to see you soon…

I believe it was Lockin,2016 where the boys did there JA commemorative with GESmith, Larry /Theresa & the background singer from Further who’s name escapes me, it was a great show live and can be viewed on Gratefullsd.
It would be a “time”, if they’re could be a memorable performance of “If you feel” and “In Time”, when played electrically, both would provide a universe of virtuouso oppurtunities for Electric Hot Tuna

I was just now scrolling around on this weather app I got and went up New York way and I’ll be damned if I didn’t find Plochman Lane up Woodstock way. Looked like 34 degrees and maybe flurries. From what I saw and what I been reading from all ya’ll who’ve seen the show this go round, I look for there to be an anomaly of about 120 Fahrenheit right there around The Barn in a couple of hours when Jorma cranks up. What a perfect place to close out the run! Living the dream, indeed.
Another great show last night by the Master in Riverhead. Being the theater had a bar the audience was well-lubed and raucous. One guy had a glass of wine in hand and missed a step – he went flying. There was a lot of noise and lots of requests from the crowd. Jorma honored most of them like Good Shepard and I Am the Light of This World. Most Jorma shows are almost reverent. Not last night. From the opening True Religion to the encore Genesis the Jorma show last night was lots of fun. Jorma played for 2 1/2 hrs – remarkable.
Great show at Spirit Square/McGlohan Theater in Charlotte. I brought a friend and introduced her to your music. She (and I) thoroughly enjoyed it. Reminded me of when I saw you in New Paltz in the 80’s. Wish you had your steel guitar though. Hope to see you again!
Great show in Richmond for several reasons. I’ve been seeing Jorma/Tuna shows for nearly 40 years and Jorma never disappoints! He’s playing as good as ever folks! This one was special for two reasons – I took my son for the first time and he had a great time and loved the music! Also, it was the first time I ever went sober and I had a great time! Next I’m going to take my son to an electric Tuna show just to give him the full experience. But you can’t beat Jorma on acoustic! Sounding great and a nice 2 set show!

Great night in Richmond on Wednesday…2 super sets at The Tin Pan! Thank you for an awesome night of music. And, thank you for signing my “Bark” album cover (with thanks to Phil for the assist). If you want a good steak go to Cliff’s Rendevous on Main Street in Riverhead. Just 2 blocks east on the theatre on the opposite side of the street. The marinated steaks are really good. As is it’s Clam Chowder. It’s a local place with great steaks.

Welcome back out to Riverhead Jorma.Sorry for your long hard ride. So while your patching your bones in town try taking a stroll along the piconic river running back behind the Hyatt running west. There is a very nice homestyle Middle eastern place called Turkuaz grill. offer some real fine fare at very reasonable prices. Kabobs, etc. Beet salad is awesome. My little group will be meeting at Para Belle at 18:20 hrs for a quick meal before show time. brick oven Pizza, chop house burgers etc. also reasonable. The gang is looking forward to a nice show. Sold out!.. early requests from the Reeves Park family, Light of this World and of course my brothers favorite was..Good Shepard.. enjoy your down time see you later.. peace always
