Just a note to say how much I enjoyed the Marietta show. We were up in the Nosebleed section and had a great view of you all. Now, Jorma was good, very good that night, but Jack was on fire. Thanks for getting him a good bowl of Wheaties that morning, it worked!

Really enjoyed your Fat Freddy story. I donated Vol. 1 and 2 of the FF Freak Bros. to the Psylo when it opened, I thought they belonged in a museum rather than my desk drawer. Hope they are enjoyed. m

The whole album is great. I can’t believe Jorma did a Christmas album. It’s a collectors piece for sure. You cannot find it anywhere.

Many Blessings, Grateful for Hot Tuna in Ann Arbor tonight… Keep on Truckin!!! Looking forward to a beautiful day, up the block is my favorite vegan buffet at The Earthen Jar. Prayers and positive energy, in love and light…

Jorma has a Christmas album?!?.. Come on…that’s like saying Dylan has a Christmas album… Oh, that’s right, Dylan does have one, doesn’t he… Who does the better Silent Night?… I would have to vote for the guy with the sweeter voice.
    Ho Ho Ho…

If you live near woods or even if you don’t, go into the forest and let out some very loud ho ho hos, and other utterances and exultations…. Good for the soul and all the cells and atoms in the body. Ho Ho Ho. Reminds me that I am living just for who?

The Jorma Christmas album is my favorite Christmas album and Silent Night is my favorite Christmas song of all time.

Time to breakout your Christmas CD. Got the new Clapton Christmas one the other day. Your Silent Night blows his away.

Daggone, with those set lists I could not resist. The wife is letting me out of the house Friday night to come to the Marietta show with my buddy Don. Can’t wait to hear so many of my favorites. Hope to grab a book, too. m

Looking at your schedule. That Jam Cruise looks interesting so I called and it’s sold out. Looks like you’re going to some pretty cool places like Belize, Cozumel, Sanibel, Santa Monica, Santa Cruz and Key West. Back to the Hawaiian shirts and flip flops.

Yeah, Buddy puts on quite a show…great guitar and interaction with the audience. He sometimes performs with a former child blues guitar prodigy – now 19 – Quinn Sullivan. They do a really nice performance together. Quinn couldn’t ask for a better mentor.

Yes, yes, and yes. I got the AXS interview recorded to watch, and I re-watched Festival Express Sunday morning. It’s a good ‘un. I’ve had the good fortune to see Buddy live over the years. He’s a good’un, too.

Buddy Guy – an icon for sure – was also recently interviewed by Dan Rather on the AXS cable channel. Not sure if you’ve seen the channel but it is chock full of great concert footage and other memorable events. Recently saw the documentary on the 1970 Canadian festival train tour, which had the Grateful Dead, The Band, Janis Joplin et al.
And yes, Buddy Guy was there too – and interviewed in the film! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Festival_Express

Got any idea when Sirius will air you guys’ talk? I tried to make sense of their programming, but was thwarted by my own impatience. I did figure out at least it should be on channel 27, but when could not be discerned. I heard Paul do one with Buddy Guy a couple weeks back. Good interviewer and interviewee. Hearing you and Jack bantering with him oughtta be a treat!

Great show at the Ridgefield Playhouse, great venue! College Park, MD is also my old stomping grounds, lived in Laurel, MD from 70-73, U of MD at College Park was always good fro a free outdoor concert on the weekends. Went to school in Bladensburg. Interesting times back then. Great seeing you and Jack perform. Stay warm!
