I was thrilled I was asked to be a part of this!
What a Mitzvah. Bless you. I lived in Pittsburgh (as you may remember ) for a total of about eight years. And just a short walk to the Temple. Blessings
Hey Jorma. I’ve loved you and your music for years but especially since your solo concert at OBERLIN in Fall ‘80 (still have the photo of your motorcycle that you gave me). Now my husband and I see you when you’re out here in Marin county and San Fran. Just want to give you a shout out and big thanks from the bottom of my heart for supporting my home community at Tree of Life in Pittsburgh. You’re music has been the soundtrack to a huge part of my life, including my son’s birth (watersong and embryonic journey, of course). So your support at this tragic and sad time is so beautiful and giving and seems so right.
Hope to see you at The Sweetwater soon.
All the best,
Michele

In my culture’s vernacular; “I’m sorry for your troubles.”.
There was a gaggle of friends that went to almost every show in the Northeast during the hey day of Hot Tuna 1974-79. The rampage years. It was amazing. I’ve been to so many shows I can’t remember them all, but I do remember being at a show in Lincroft NJ. So I must’ve been to that one too George. Good times indeed.
@George Henn
I was at that Brookdale College show and remember it as a real barnburner.
@George Henn
Thank you for doing this.
@George Henn
Ah, the rampage years – good ‘ol days!
News flash: tonight at 11 EST Jorma is the featured artist on 90.5 The Night FM, Brookdale College radio in NJ. Hopefully, they’ll archive the show on their site. In October 1975 Hot Tuna played a marathon show ar Brookdale, my first one. James Cotton opened. Small world.
am sure your music and soul brought a bit of needed healing…
Thank you for contributing to such an important cause.
May there be more peace, health and sanity in 2019!
