John Hurlbut and I were down on Sanibel Island for two weeks for our yearly offsite road trip. In that time while avoiding the wintry mix at home, we had two classes and a boat ride.

The songwriting class...

The guys in the song writing class knocked it out of the park… again. I am humbled by not only their talent but also their relentless work ethic. Thanks fellas!
We had a Saturday and a Sunday off and on Saturday our friend Billy from the Cherry Street Pub in Lancaster, Ohio took us for ride on his boat. If you’re gonna hang in Florida… I can see a boat is a must! After the Superbowl (Good on KC!) Another class… this one a blues adventure.

My and my blues buddies!

Then it was time to load up the bus and head for the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix. We’ll be holding forth with our pal Dick Boak.

RIP Buzzy Linhart…I visited Buzzy in Berkeley and interviewed him in 2016…He was a good guy…He would blind side you with a comic cartoon voice when you didn’t expect it…
Such a beautiful picture of the ranch..so peaceful…
Safe travels..

HOT F’ING TUNA!
I gotta share. I saw the coolest expression of the reverse racial stereotype that white boys can’t dance. I was watching Shameless, and a female character called V, who is black, had been invited to a party of black professionals and wanted to impress by taking a potato salad using some fancy fufu recipe. Some of the guests were gathered around the food, commenting about how awful the salad tasted. “Someone around here wearin’ a MAGA hat”, one said. Then the line I’m still laughing at: “You know whoever made this shit claps on the one and the three”. I howled.

Myron is the Man.
Really nice guy. Always pleasant.
Can you imagine traveling with Hot Tuna.
Nice shot of the “Snow Moon”.
Kudos to Myron on representing what appears to be Starr Hill Brewery cap logo but the Steelers?! C’mon man!
I would pay good money to see Jorma take a ride on a boar!
(Sorry, I just got a kick out of the typo.)
Beautiful shot of the Ranch in winter. Excellent composition.
Safe Travels…the journey rolls on.
