We finished our Fur Peace Ranch session yesterday around noon and as always the goodbyes are bittersweet. Old friends and new… always a delight. The rain came yesterday but the cold was gone. The rain and wind knocked down many of he leaves but as you can see, it is still a beautiful fall.
I actually have a couple of gigs coming up this weekend. The Ridgefied Playhouse in Ridgefield, Connecticut on Saturday the 24th and on Sunday the 25th I’ll be at the Tupelo Music Hall Drive In which can be found in Derry, New Hampshire. Getting out of the house for a bit and being able to play in a safe environment, I’m really looking forwards to this one.

Love the Ridgefield Playhouse! Saw Tommy Emanuel there a few years ago, great venue! Any thoughts on Arlindo Guthrie’s “Gone Fishing” announcement? So sad that he’s dealing with strokes.

Pretty cool addition to the Ranch. Ever been to the Serpent Mound in southcentral Ohia? Awesome to see earthworks there and at Fort Ancient. Amazing what folks used to do before TV. If you’re ever near Chillicothe, the Leo Petroglyph is an interesting artifact, as well. m

Beautiful picture of the Labrynth. The leaves have been so vibrant and colorful this year in Upstate NY.. everywhere you look it was picture perfect.

Just bought a tix for Ridgefield. So psyched. 10 miles from the family country home.
Looks great Jorma – it’s beautiful here too, should be a lot of color when you get to Ridgefield (I grew up right over the NY line) -I got a ticket for the 24th but fractured my fibula near my ankle hiking with the kids in Mohonk last week – oh well, more practice time I guess – So, I’ll try to make it but best wishes for the gig and enjoy the ride – also, if you are walking in the woods watch out for stumps not cut close enough to the ground – Jim
