The Captain contemplates himself and the Labyrinth

The Captain contemplates himself and the Labyrinth

Here is it January 7, 2020. The whole family has been sick since we got back from Florida. It is indeed that time of year. Seems like I’m on the back side of it today… thank goodness. Not much has been getting done except getting the kid to and from school and volley ball. Being a parent seems much more significant than the music business!

Thanks to the idiots in this world, there are many more drone regs in the offing and lots of geofencing and firmware updates which I did yesterday. Today I initialed everything and flew both my birds successfully.

If it were greener, it could be the Shire.

It was below freezing this morning but it warmed up and the dogs are enjoying some outdoor time. I’ve been playing my new Flammang guitar and loving every minute of it. I’m going to upload one more drone shot and get back to doing some picking.

Lovely, lovely day.

Hopefully I’ll be able to get back into the gym after dropping the kid off at school.

Thanks for the advice, Tom NY….if I survived the mens room at variuos Tr-State area Hot Tuna shows, some ticks and whatnot were small patatas indeed.

Did you ever cut his lawn in long pants? Just sayin’…Also, lots of lyme and bartenella tick carriers out there so best with long pants… Also, should you get the paper route started again, long pants please.

Jorma, I am sure you are aware of this chatter regarding potential grounding of some civilian drones… In fact, you mentioned recently about adjustments being made due to some clowns. Here is a story related to the space you fly and how our enemies may be up there with you, or even in your drone.

I hear there are some Chinese spies having anchor babies in the US… Some laws do need some tweaking…just sayin’. May the decoupling continue, and may we do it peacefully.

I got a story about the Lone Star. In 1980 I went down to the Lone Star Cafe and spoke to the owner Mort Cooperman. Told him all about Jorma. the rest is history…

RIP Wade. I walked beneath your creation many times to see Jorma at the Lonestar. And, I have fond memories of those days.

Jorma, Please give the details of the Flammang guitar. How does it compare to you Martin M-30 and will you be taking it out on the road? Would love to hear how it sounds live. Any Stephen Talkhouse shows planned?

Sorry to hear that you’re sick. Just keep drinking tea with honey and chicken soup.

Dang, boy, that creek really fell out from your last shot down that way. Must’ve been a toad strangler for it to get that high and drop right back. Riparian rhythms make for pastoral pleasures.

    Jorma,
I recently felt a cold coming on and reached for some tea that I picked up at the Ranch. The Family Health Tea from The Herbal Sage tea company really help boost my immune system and it never developed into much of anything. That stuff is awesome and yummy too.

I’m glad I had some handy and I plan to git me some more.
    Be well,
    Dennis

Glad you are on the mend. Lots of water, Vit C and magnesium. As we get older our sense of thirst fades away…and we can forget to drink water. Drink up Captain of the Good Ship Sanity.

Yes, family certainly trumps rock and roll… Peace and quiet and family and volley ball..

I bumped into one of Dylan’s old bass players in NY and said something about hiring him for a gig. I then mentioned, “its remarkable to be able to get such high quality players for just a few bucks”. I said, “my buddy says there are so many ‘stupid stars’ wanting to “rock and roll”. Stoner, the bass player said, “did you say stupor stars?” I said, “no, stupid stars.” he said, “they both work.”

On this road I’m walking on, I See The Light
