Well… The above photo was taken a couple of days ago. Before we did the show last night I was definitely suffering from Covid Malaise. It sucked. Yeah I know… don’t cry for me Argentina :). I’m living large down here. Anyway, to be back live again was a big deal for Nessa and me and the team. being back in the saddle again made everything seem OK.

In my humble opinion the Great Malaise would be greatly ameliorated if we were facing the pandemic with the same cohesion with which we met the Axis powers in WWII. Shared sacrifice builds national character. Hopefully it’s not too late for new leadership to get a higher percentage of the population to see this as a time to fight together. The negative energy produced by this situation is where the malaise is coming from, compounded by the ineffective results so far achieved. My malaise abates every Saturday evening from about 7 to 9 aided by the fount of positive energy flowing from FPR. Thank you for the respite.

I missed #27 but my buddy said that it was absolutely the best one . I will catch it this week when we can both relax and watch. Keep an eye on the Malaise everyone as we are all in this together ….some more then others . There are a lot of things we can do to combat it and one of them is to reach out to and help others and we can also pray. Thank you Jorma , Vanessa and the entire Fur Peace staff for your effort in reaching out to all of us…….It is so very much appreciated . Be safe and keep on moving forward cause this to shall end.

Medical folks are suggesting that summer 2021 should begin to look somewhat “normal”. Understandably, people are worn out and frustrated; beginning to let their guard down. It’s gonna get worse before it gets better. Keep the faith and stay vigilant. This too shall pass.

    Peace to all!

Thanks, Jorma, for all the music through ALL these years, and especially now for giving us the Saturday evening concerts. Cheer up, if you can but it is getting tougher and tougher. This new normal is not normal at all.

Thanks for the terrific show, Jorma, and I hear you on the Covid Malaise. Same deal here – I can’t complain about my situation given the suffering of so many millions…I feel very fortunate and grateful…but man, it really does suck. Hang in there.

    Hi Jorma,

Fabulous live show last night. ‘Corners’ is a deep composition, wonderful changes, ‘Broken Highway’ especially bluesy and powerful. Congrats on new LP w/ John. Loved “You Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere”. Your friend Happy Traum plays on Bob’s 1971 version from Double Greatest Hits Vol 2. I enjoy exploring classical also, respect for ‘Pachelbel Canon in D Major’. Thanks to Vanessa for all she does.
