It seems like the advance tendrils of that hurricane may be coming our way up here in Ohio. In any case, it has been raining on and off since last night and it looks like we might be past the oppressive heat of the past week for a bit.
Happy August First… time is indeed marching on!
Stay well!
Great set list…
🙂
Maynard Mass. back to Ohio in one day, wow! Jorma, your still a trooper! Thanks for the music.
Did the Maynard concert from our own stage in Ohio… a lesser trooper… but a trooper nonetheless. 🙂

thank you
catch you when reality returns
@Jorma
Count me as a big Guild fan. I have a 6-string D-25–1972 except for the face and bridge, which are 1984 (sad story behind that). It makes its voice heard pretty well, especially with new strings. A friend i used to jam with a lot would refer to it as a Marshall stack.
Ahhhhhh Jorma… another exquisite performance last night. It seems your playing is free, passionate, and precision. I’ve been listening a long time, going through all the phases, and right now you’re peaking IMHO.
As long as you play, I’ll be there ♡♡
What just happened?
Lemme tell ya somethin’. They ain’t much rankles me more than a faceless coward telling someone to “shut the fuck up”. Don’t say anything without a face you wouldn’t say face to face. These types all have hairless asses in my book, and that’s why I largely steer clear of the faceless realm. The only thing tops that is an ingrate faceless coward. Who, in the physical realm, would tell someone how to conduct themselves in an endeavor that costs the observer nothing? I appreciate every moment in which you all allow us to participate. Thank you for your kindness.
Regarding the question at #16 tonight about recording on 12-string guitar, i’m pretty sure that the version of “San Francisco Bay Blues” on “Pair a Dice Found” is on 12-string.
…And you would be right about that. It was a Guild 12-String, similar to Kantner’s.
Jorma
I became somewhat animated when you broke into “Trouble In Mind” last night. That’s my one of my favorite Lightnin’ covers, and I had dived into it Monday on Breakdown Way. Still hacking away at the intro, but I’ve found that perseverance on the guitar can yield some pretty rapid returns, so I’mma get it down some day.
Really great show for the library – and I hope the “River of Time” issue was resolved amicably with no one sleeping on the couch.
Here in Jupiter it’s always a little upsetting to see Jim Cantore setting-up down the street. Maybe an “Ain’t In No Hurry” as we all wait out the Corona-Cane tonight. Stay Safe
96 degrees but real feel is 106 here in South Carolina, and as usual, hurricane is heading directly for us. Really enjoyed the show last night, looking forward to tonight! I’m broadcasting at 7, I get out of the way in plenty of time for your show!
Looking forward to #16, on Jerry’s birthday. He would have been 78. RIP brother.
