Dear Jorma,Vanessa, John, Myron and Izze and FPR staff, at this time when waves of insanity are washing over the U.S. many thanks are owed to you who keep a solid anchor in reality and serve a deep measure of respite and joy to all those fortunate enough to tune in.

Vanessa, About thirty years ago while driving home from work, Mother Nature abrubtly demanded a “sit down” pronto. With at least five miles to complete my trek , I had no choice other than to pull off of the traffic ridden highway and visit the facilities at the Sheraton Inn. Upon completion, I leaned down to push that silver lever and at the very same moment of that amazing vacuous flush, my keys fell out of the top pocket of my denim jacket. Unlike you the technology we enjoy in this century, mine at that time consisted of, two feet and a duplicate set of keys waiting for me home at home. I arrived home and my roommate soon followed. We laughed, spliffed up, and completed my mission. Jorma I will cautiously move on to the next topic which is cleaning balls. To be more specific Eisch Glaskultur cleaning balls. While safely visiting a yard sale up the street from my home on Saturday afternoon there these small lidded containers of stainless steel BB’s that are used for cleaning wine carafes. I thought to myself, these would be great as a prelude to use in my rock tumbler before adding the grit. And at fifty cents apiece ($17.00 retail as it turns out) I purchased them. While watching # 21 they were put to use as a percussive instrument and shaker to keep time with your gift that keeps on givin’. Lid side down on top of the mouse pad. Finger tapping or in hand to add flourishes and endings. A thousand pardons for any unruly visuals. Thanks in advance for # 22.

A big something to look forward to every weekend. FPR is an American treasure. GE’s Codeine was a high point of the evening for me. As we used to say, “Farm Out!”

Jorma, who made the River of Time Guitar? It looks like your Martin model.

Beautiful work on “For What It’s Worth.” Exquisite harmonics.
I know there are a whole lot of good guitar players on this blog, but even for not-so-good ones like me the QC’s are truly inspirational, practice-wise.
As well as saving my sanity and being tons of fun. Thanks a million.
