It’s been a while since we’ve been to the Belly Up in Solano Beach and it was good to be back. It’s a great gig! The folks that run it are awesome, the food is great and the audience tops! I look forward to the next time.

After show a dash to S.F. where Jack and Justin and I will play the National Anthem at the Warriors game tonight.
This is a first for us and it’s an honor.
More anon
Then it was time to meet Bromberg and his pals in L.A. at the El Rey!
At the Keswick Theatre in Glenside PA the announcer always asked for a warm welcome to “The Hot Tuna…..”
@AndyK
@Joe from VA
Thanks so much Joe.
Really enjoyed watching that!
Hey, wassup with the announcer’s pronunciation of the names and saying Justin is from San Fran?
I’ve been thinking about the anthem and do you fellas realize you may have pissed off some serious Tuna fans. You know the ones at the show always screaming sit down at the dancers.
Peace

Wow Serpent Of Dreams..very nice.
Looks like you guys are “KILLIN IT” once again and the boys are having a good time. Enjoy the West Coast, heading out there in March for business.
Looking forward to the Summer Tour.

Can anyone say “Electric Gatorade”?
I have tickets to both shows in Boulder. I have been seeing Hot Tuna for @ 40 years and look forward to 2 more shows next week.
“Third Week in the Chelsea” has long been one of my favorites and it seems you almost played it last year at the Boulder Theater acoustic show until someone shouted out a request from the audience. So, you are probably not into requests on this forum, but it would be awesome if it could be included in the setlist one of the two nights.
Thank you,
David Lucas
@AndyK
Oh yeah, “Making the National Anthem Hip Again.”
Jorma, if you use a phase shifter on the guitar, may I recommend the old Smallstone Phase Shifter. No distortion please, too much f that already coming thru MSM.
I hope you guys knock it out of the park.
Jorma, could you provide a link to a video clip of the national anthem? I’m sure we would all really love to see the performance.
Went and saw Wishbone Ash at Dosey Doe’s in Houston last night. Good show, excellent venue. The kicker is, I pulled up to park, facing north, and right next door, I mean like less than 100 steps, was Daikoku Ramen and Kushiyaki. Didn’t eat because the meal was provided with the show, but I’m going back. Usually the places you find when you’re not looking turn out to be the best. Serendipity to the rescue.
Lol a jump into volunteers would have been interesting
Efficiently done fellas.
We are fortunate to live in a great country but must be vigilant and carry the fire as Mr K would say.
I was looking up Paul’s gravesite yesterday after sending Cafe Trieste link to someone I love.

Glad to hear west coast tour is going well. Cool about National Anthem in your old neck of the woods…look forward to seeing/hearing on YT…I hope. That said, personally, I’d like to see y’all play it at an Indians/Browns/Cavs or Ohio U. game! Just saying….
Rock The States A La Hot Tuna Tonight, Jorma!
