Myron and Me on the plane...
Selfie by Myron Hart
Monday last Myron and I saddled up and headed down to Runaway Bay to join the rest of the Hot Tuna gang, Warren Haynes (who was ramrodding the show) the North Mississippi Allstars and more.

Then Tuna was scheduled to play an electric set… but we beat the rain by going indoors and playing an ‘acoustic’ set in the dining room… with drums.

Tomorrow Hurl and I are heading to Sanibel Island for two weeks of Fur Peace Ranch Winter Workshops On The Road.
More will be revealed…
Buddy Cage sure could play the pedal steel
Kirk Douglas sure could play Spartacus.
RIP Buddy Cage…
RIP Wes Wilson.
RIP Wes Wilson. As someone who was not even born when he was creating his iconic 60’s concert posters, I can only look back and feel like I missed out on so much amazing music. I have a great appreciation for the music and art of the 60’s and I am glad that young Jorma had the 20-20 foresight to collect/preserve so many these posters of the day and later display them for future generations to enjoy.
Thanks for that Jorma and Vanessa!
Hey Jorma,
Looks like a great time had by all….love the Selfie…
Vampire Woman – WOW ….
Enjoy Florida and teaching your students, hope to see you guys soon.

Well Shot out over the water said I wont be here long,
So live anchored in Jesus and the devil and world wont do me no harm.
The End times…. World ends twice, once when we die as individuals and then at the conflagration..q..In the meantime I’m thinking of going out for a sushi lunch, all vegetables cause of Fukishima and plastics….just sayin’
Be wise as a serpent and gentle as a dove.
And those quakes in P.R. a few weeks ago…… Maybe it is true that “The End Is Near”
@John B
Yup. Just off the coast on Tuesday.
One of the strongest ever in the Caribbean.
A quake in Jamaica ?
@George Henn
Sanibel Island is great. Once you go over the causeway bridge and see the lighthouse you enter a different cosmic zone. So peaceful. It’s wonderful!
ps It’s one of the best shelling spots in the world.
@johno
Well done Johno
Pretty funny. Hot Tuna plays in Jamaica and there’s a 7.7 earthquake off the coast last night. Coincidence. I don’t think so. They sure rocked Jamaica.
Was on Sanibel last month…had some good food at The Island Cow.
Hope you guys missed the big quake. Safe travels folks.
Enjoy the waves Jorma.
You figured out a great model – family, wife, children, music, gigs, teaching, writing, motorcycles, the beach, friends, obedience, solitude by the river, Hurl’s coffee, etc. Not bad… When ya going to take up painting? Just sayin’
“Hot Tuna: Feeding my Head for 50 years!”
keep rockin! m
Would be great to see Luther & Cody at FPR someday! Cody actually played in Athens back in 2016 with Joe Marcinek and Holly Bowling. Come to think of it…Holly would also be great at FPR!
Wish I coulda been to all-em.
