We are so touched by the love and affection showed by so many to our family. You know who you are. Our gratitude is boundless!
Tonight we have #32 of our ongoing Quarantine Concert Series.
This has been a year to remember in a lot of ways and as much as I’d like to, I’m not forgetting anything. All that being said, our extended family (that includes you all) has helped us to carry on, so thanks for that.
I’m going to break here. Boundless thanks to all our friends. See ya later tonight!

If you can find someone to like in that picture, there’s no pleasing you. 🙂
Jorma, I don’t think you celebrate New Year’s Eve’, tonight; however, I wish you and your family a healthy, happy and (sensibly) untethered 2021. I, especially, hope you get to free your soul at some more concerts, in the months to come…

Tony Rice. God Bless.
FWIW, according to the ‘stringjoy tension calculator’ (tension.stringjoy.com), a standard tuned Acoustic guitar w a 25.5 inch scale length set up w .012 has 173.5 lbs of force that it needs to resist. If the same guitar is tuned to open E tuning…the force climbs to 193.6 lbs.
Just a shade over 10% . I can see it’d be hard on a guitar to be yanked back and forth between tunings, but 10% doesn’t seem like a LOT for a healthy guitar.
YMMV.
Police dog blues (pretty please) ??
Thank you for the wonderful concerts…..
I, too, was sorry to learn of Tony Rice’s passing. I had the pleasure of seeing him and Peter Rowan play at Fur Peace many years ago. Time to play “The Pizza Tapes.”
Peace, Love and a long life to you Jorma. Belated birthday wishes too.
I’m a little melancholy today hearing of Tony Rice passing…
going to spin Blue Country and take a walk. Thanks for all the music my friend
Yikes! Ode to Billy Dean seems to get better every time! I’m still hoping for that Police Dog to show up.
Good health and happiness to all.

That was such a great show tonight. Loved the segment with John. And that acoustic Ode to Bille Dean was killer. Thank you and wishing you good health and happiness in the year ahead.
The traditional Chinese restaurant for Christmas? One last present to open Q#32, Thanks Santa K
