Yeah, so our dear friend Alec Wightman who has been promoting shows in Columbus for many years (not the least of which me) wrote a book, Music In My Life, Notes From A Long Time Fan. Well done brother, and a fine read about stuff I love.

This was a grand conversation! Glad I was there to be part of it in some small way!
We had pizza… of course. Natalie is famous for her pies and more great cuisine! Our daughter Izze is working an Athens at a great Pizza joint so the ladies shared some good pizza back stories. With that in mind, yesterday while Izze was working, Nessa and I hopped in the Jeep with the top of and drove to the Shade Winery for a simply terrific dinner out in the vineyards.
Lovely…
Going to try for a motorcycle ride tomorrow morning.
Stay well!
Thank you, Jorma. It was a very special evening, made even more special by you being there!
My pleasure brother…
did you put the book link to barnes and nobles on purpose havent seen that done in years kinda refreshing
I did!
I wonder if Jack got to FPR yet. I’m hoping he did because I need some friggin Hot Tuna! Jorma has saved us from this pandemic with his weekly concerts from FPR which are great and I’m extremely grateful for. But there’s nothing quite like Hot Tuna. Saw my first show in April, 1973 on Long Island. In 2 years, I’ll be a 50 year fan. Thanks so much Jorma and Jack for your music. It’s been a great ride…going along with you!
Jack will be on the show tonight!
Thanks for the heads-up on the book! I’ll add it to my list for sure! Currently reading “Our Team” about the 1948 Cleveland Indians (focus on Bob “Rapid Robert” Feller, Satchel Page, Larry Doby, and Bill Veeck)…great read! Hurl may enjoy it as I recall he is a big Tribe fan. On deck are books on Al Schmitt, Steve Marriott, Richard Thompson, Mike Scott, Rev. Gary Davis, and Guy Clark. BTW – no place like SE Ohio in the spring and early summer – enjoy!
