At long last Jack and I in our collective gestalt alter ego Hot Tuna… finally hit the road. We beat feet on down from Pomeroy to Melbourne, Florida where we docked the RV’s in a State Park not far from the gig.

Jack and i go for a walk and meet a Gopher Turtle on the way…

I’m really enjoying my RV. There’s a lot that goes along with it, but it’s worth it!

Your turtle picture reminded of one of my favorite books , The Grapes Of Wrath . One of my favorite chapters , I have many , is the one where the turtle is trying to cross the highway……..just sayin…….

On a different note, watched the Friends Reunion special with my wife last night. The show started the same way the series ended – to Embryonic Journey. Made the show worth watching just for that!

Good to see HT back out on the road! My last live music was The Brothers tribute to ABB at MSG, NYC, NY on 3/10/20…just before the world shut down. Coincidentally, maybe poetic justice, my first live show since then will be the Allman Betts Band at Richmond (VA) Harley Davidson parking lot this coming Friday! Can’t hardly wait! BTW – hope some of y’all or all of y’all were able to catch the Jerry Jeff Walker tribute show from Lukenbach, Texas last weekend. It was a PPV livestream via website or live via Margaritaville station on XM. It was awesome!!! Great JJW stories and musical tributes by Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, Emmy Lou Harris, Steve Earle, Michael Martin Murphey, Steve Flannery, Rodney Crowell, Jimmy Buffett and others! Good feel good night it was!

To Vanessa….I want to thank you for asking Jorma my question about Sunny Day Strut from Q#43 show. I asked for a friend who was at the show Friday and texting me a song by song commentary from 1000 miles away. We too celebrate 50 years with the boys from that very first Town Hall show in NYC . Friday nite made her year, even though there had been Too Many Years between us since. we cant say enough how gifted and generous all of you are. do stay well and may god bless.

Thanks so much to you and Jack for coming down our Florida way. Sunday night’s show in Delray was fantastic! After nearly 50 years of Tuna shows, I’m still amazed at how you keep it fresh and continue to up your game.

It was wonderful to see Hot Tuna on ther road again Jorma!
Amy&I went to Melbourne. Great show. She yelled out “thank you for the last year”. A sense of normalcy as a Hot Tuna concert is for me being at home!

I was in in Hazmat Promenade Delray. Mrs Eggs said it was the most expensive concert we ever went to but worth every penny to get there! I think for the first time at a non electric show I bellowed HOT FUCKIN TUNA! Several times. By the time Letter to the North Star arrived, like Belushi in The Blues Brother the SPIRIT took over and down the aisle and off in the the corner space rejoiced in thanks and jubilation. A dance of ecstasy,,serious happiness. I took to the floor of my pod and improvised a dance to Good Shepherd. It was great to see people meeting at the show Butterflies out or their cocoons. Thank God for the Quarentines that helped us get through but outdoors with a gentle breeze and you guys playing life got a whole lot better.
Stay well see you in NY and other environs.
