Jack and have been busy rehearsing for # 50 and we have some gems for you all. Because we are recording at a live show here at the Fur Peace Ranch it will take some time for us to prepare the show for the youTube upload. At eight o’clock Eastern Standard Time we will be playing Quarantine Concert #1. When it is done, #50 will seamlessly begin. Vanessa and I will be on the chat so stay tuned!

From throwback to the present… don’t go away!

We’ve tents, seats, pizza and people.

What a concept!

Confession: I didn’t expect to hear “Turn My Life Down” last night. Thanks for that (and for everything).

Can’t thank you enough for Quarantine #50 and the dedication of time and effort by all to carry this out over this one year plus. It was must see TV every Sat. at 8.
But I have one question after last night. It looked pretty cold, BUT was it as cold as St. Pete FL during that Sunshine Music Fest. I was security for backstage access stage left and remember Barry trying to get the fingers warmed up as he got ready stage side.
Thank you for all the amazing good times and good music over the past 50+ years.

First class production. The Rolling Stones and Martin Scorsese ain’t got nothin on you guys. Having a camera on Vanessa was a great addition to the show.

Great show yesterday! I love watching the music and the interchange between you and Jack. The concerts have done so much, on many different levels, for so many people.

Now, the only thing missing is a rousing group song involving as many of the Fur Peace people as possible, including John, Venessa, Izzy, Myron, Andee, and of course Jack. “Volunteers” seems appropriate, considering the the selfless donation everyone has made over the last year. One for the record books. Just a thought.

Hope to stop at the Ranch later this summer and visit the hallowed ground, shop at the store and go through the museum. Thank you, again, and G-d Bless!

I am so grateful to have been a part of all 50 shows. They became a Way of Life.

Listening to #50 for the second go round….Highway Song is playing….that, in and of itself…that it got revived acoustically. A brilliant blessing.

I will keep saying it…..we have been so lucky. This would never have happened if not for the pandemic.

    You have enriched my life.

    I will remain forever grateful.

    Fur Peace and Love,
    Barbara

After one of the sunrise Palladium shows, standing outside the venue in disbelief, my friend said to me, “they specialize in endings”.
    Looking forward to tonight Jorma.
    And the Melbourne show.

@john rubino- When they played it in that Quarantine concert, I think Jorma said to Jack” Do that again, I like it” or something like that! 🙂

@JB……I’ve been humming that bass line and tune since I first heard it 7/26/75 in Lenox , Mass. it has become part of my soul. Many thanks to all at FPR—–youve really made this magical.

This has been an awesome ride! Thanks so much! I have been humming the intro bass line to Great Divide Revisited constantly since you guys dusted that one off last summer 😉

A Grand Finale for the ages, I’m betting. A more fitting end to the COVID era I can’t imagine. Looking forward to new iterations spawned by the Quarantine concerts. Onward in a big way, says I. Definitely won’t be square tonight! Peace.

Jorma, Vanessa, Jack, John, Izze and Myron and a host of others that I don’t know about, I can’t thank you enough for the last year of free Quarantine Concerts and numerous vault shows that you have done. You all had a hand in me getting back acquainted with a guitar that I had forgotten about for close to 40 years. Along the way I will try and drag my wife along, she has a beautiful new Classic guitar to play and we still have a lot of free time. And through all of this I have to thank you for me getting back in touch with an old high school friend that I used to play guitar with and who is a Great instructor himself, Greg Jeffreys. Thanks again my Traveling Brother.
