As I recall HT played two shows on those nights. We always went to the late one that lasted to sunrise. Then a train ride back to Trenton NJ

Those Academy of Music shows were epic. Hot Tuna would play Fri and Sat shows every spring and fall there on 14th street. The shows would start at 8pm and end at 5am. I remember driving home on the LIE and watching the sun come up. Then later that day do it again. It was all so psychedelic. If you’ve never seen Hot Tuna on acid you missed out. Ahh the good old days. It’ll never happen again.

The wife & I enjoyed seeing HT at the Count Basie last Sunday. We caught Jorma for his solo tours the past 1 1/2 yrs. but it was great to see Jack again.
I was lucky to first see HT in 1971 at the Philly Academy of Music followed by many Academy shows in NY.
50 yrs & more then 50 shows. Thanks Guys its been great.

Great stuff Jorma! Hopefully you’ll be able to hit the northwest next year! Spokane wants you back! You need to check out Grand Coulee Dam if you’ve never seen it! I remember Vanessa saying you wanted to road trip thru here and it’s a must see! Thank you for all you do. Bernal’s in Spokane.
