Yeah, so I’ve been a bit tardy with this post. Sunday last Mr. Hurlbut and I played the Mill Event Center just up the road from us in Lancaster, Ohio. I love playing with Johnny and I had been looking forward to this one for a long time. The was packed and in a way it was Old Home week for the Hurl as his pals from Mid-Ohio over the years all showed up to join in the fun. Here is our show list including keys the songs were in as well as capo positions if such were needed.

So cool. I just started learning Operator a couple of weeks ago in F. Sharing your bit of cheat in C gave me a transposing exercise, and now I can do it in C, too, if I did my work right. C, F, G, E7, dm’s what I got. I’ll take a tip ever how it comes. Thanks!

Doesn’t Upstate start at the Bronx/Westchester County line? 😉

It must feel so good for you guys to be out on the road again.
Wish I was closer to the places you’re going.
Where I am in the Catskills is pretty remote.
My wife played a song called “Hey Baby” sung by Jorma last night.
I had never heard it before. It was so good!

Jorma – When you play with John you often use a movable chord shape that has a lovely sound & I wonder if it has a name or some background to it. It’s when you use your left index finger on the B string, pinky on the high E string, and two middle fingers on either the A & D or D & G strings. My favorite Quarantine Concert was #10 from 06 June 2020, but, I can no longer find it on YouTube; can you have someone please re-upload it? Thanks. You are a continuing inspiration to me.
