    @John B
    Thanks for asking, John. He’s mending, but still pretty bunged up. His heft shoulder was pretty much destroyed, but the doctor said the surgery went better than he’d hoped. He’s still in a back brace and can get up from a chair by himself, but not from a prone position, or sitting low, like on a couch. Once up, he’s gotten to where he can walk around the house 10 or 12 times at a stretch. It’s gonna be a long haul, but I’m grateful to the One that he’s still with us. If you’dve seen that Jeep and crash site, shit fire, it’s a wonder. And my grandson only got a gash on his cheek and some bruises. Always a place for gratitude, even in the toughest spots. Thanks again for your thought.

    On the Way Home and Long May You Run. Not one but two references in one entry.

    Still interested in a Neil story from you…..be it good, bad or ugly.

    …I do want to set up a cot in that music room.
    Great seeing ya brother!

    I’d settle for a foam pad and sleeping bag

    Looks like you’re having fun. Pretty easy to slip back into the saddle? No “saddle sores”, so to speak?
