Vanessa and Izze and I drove up to Columbus for Thanksgiving dinner joined by John Hurlbut and his brother Pete. It was a lovely day for November and there’s nothing quite like breaking bread with family and friends!

Indeed, my family has much to be thankful for and when life is good more than two days in a row it is easy to start taking things for granted. I will try to avoid this.
The day after Thanksgiving is one fraught with leftovers… and for that I am thankful as well.
Last but not least… from my friends Larry and Stacy Falk (cleaning out their basement)

Where did those last nineteen years go?
The only Fleetwood Mac album I own is Mystery to Me, I think Christine McVie really shines. Never really cared for the Stevie Nicks version band. For the hardcore blues fans, the trio of Bluesbreaker albums Bluesbreakers w/Clapton, Hard Road w/Peter Green, Crusade w/Mick Taylor just awesome
Always liked their version of “Rattlesnake Shake” on aforementioned “Then Play On”.
Rip Christine Mcvie
We saw them open for Jefferson Starship in Hartford 76
Very talented songwriter ,none of Stevie Nicks celebrity persona .
They’re later stuff is for the snoozer .
Check out the 68 or 69 recordings from Boston live ,w/Peter Greene
Pretty raw
Great stuff
Oh Well
RIP Christine McVie. I wasn’t a big fan of Fleetwood Mac after “Then Play On”. I don’t believe she joined the band until later, but she did do some uncredited piano work on that one according to the Wikipedia. She was a good song writer, just not my style.
That’s a really great shot of you and your furry friends!!!
Wow! That is one awesome photo of you, Jorma. Lookin’ good!
Postprandial. Now there’s a word you don’t hear every day. In fact, that’s a word I ain’t never heard. This spell checker here on my phone didn’t even know it. I’ll bet you are a kick-ass scrabble player. The preternatural vocabulary sometimes used here is one of the things I find interesting. Prime attribute of a good songwriter, no doubt.
Awesome. I’ve got a couple of the Tuna Times from ’93 and a copy of the Winter ’94 issue of Southeast Ohio magazine with your pic on the cover. If you all need this kind of stuff for a collection, let us know. m
Better late than never Jorma, I hope you whole family had a very happy and fruitful Thanksgiving. Our oldest Grandson and his girlfriend came to visit, since I have more guitars than I need now, or in the future, such as it will be, I gave him his first guitar along with all of the accessories that he will need. Now I only have the Ovation, Gibson and the 5 string banjo, didn’t you want to learn banjo Jorma? 😉

Happy gratitude day Jorma!
