I am really looking forward to this Saturday, I need the motivation to get going on my own Guitar and Banjo lessons. I’ll make sure to put on a good layer of Jorma’s Choice CBD Balm on my back and hands before hand 😉 Hoping it’s going to be a live show but even a recorded show would be Great! YIPPIE!!! A NEW CONCERT!!!

Yes,I think Dwayne got typecast and went behind the camera as a producer. He was in a couple of Frankie & Annette beach bikini movies (also in Cat Ballou) Of course my favorite was Bob Denver as Maynard G Krebs, went out and got some bongos and played a mean Wipeout. My parents were worried, and they had every reason to be

    Mr. Kaukonen:

Thank you for the Lake Street Dive recommendation. They’re really good! A welcome relief from the cookie-cutter stuff we see too often these days …

Jack and Jorma look great, at work with the Airplane, in the silent color footage from Altamont that recently emerged.

Wow, lost Dobie Gillis and Michael Lang on the same day. Straight line from beatnik to hippie. Peace and Love. Can’t wait for the QC 2022, the Omicrap continuation. Be well and stay safe everyone

Just read an interview with John about The River Flows by GratefulWeb. Such a gracious interviewee. He
addressed including the song Choices by George Jones. Apparently it was posited by some that Jorma fans might turn up a nose at the short lead in the song. What does the artist (and lead)say? “I want to serve the song. It’s not a jam song”. How refreshing. I was listening to some Freddie King this weekend. He uses pauses to great effect. The absence of a note can be as powerful as the tone itself. Consumerism breeds a society that says “Give me more” of whatever it is I like. It doesn’t like subtlety. Things ain’t always about “how big is the plate”, “is it a BOGO?”, “more notes per measure, please”, or “the lead on that song was too short”. Count on the Captain touch steer clear of commercialism. His lodestar is the art. Bless you, sir.

Robert Hunter (born Robert Burns) is a great great grandson of Scottish poet Robert Burns who is credited with writing “Auld Lang Syne”.

    Looking forward to some RANCH.
