Just a short note to honor all those who have served as well as those who are serving today. It’s one of those times when words just don’t seem like enough, but it’s all I have today…

Thank you all!

Thanx for the Veteran’s Day note. It’s always a good feeling when someone expresses their appreciation. You might be interested to know that your music has been running at a flank bell at test depth at a number of classified locations in the Pacific 🙂 Thanx again, Mike.

In college we’d spend the afternoons “prepping “, for the Dead or Byrds ,quicksilver ,airplane ,Poco -whoever.One could only imagine what prepping entailed ,but sometimes the prep had Mr.Natural on window pane or came as orange barrel.
To prep for Tonight’s show google Garth Hudson ,piano solo “The Weight”, 2017.
It’s Garth sitting in w/Warren et Al at the beginning of the LAST WALTZ touring regimen.
It’s no wonder he had moniker of “The Music teacher”.
    Check it out ,inspirational

Gonna spend afternoon putting a few through a Ruger 655 -creedmoor .

    Reach out there .

Thanks for doing that, Jorma. Whether it’s eating burgers out back on Memorial Day, or enjoying some live music, I wouldn’t be able to do either without the service and sacrifices of so many men and women.

I know from your previous post that you’re thinking about the future, but regarding the present: As a O.5 level guitarist (maybe), it’s foolish for me to assess your work. But jut ears-wise, I’ve heard you live/recorded for more than half a century, and completely agree with your assessment that you’re playing better than ever. Your dedication and execution are inspiring.

And your work with John has been such a treat, the records and the shows. They’re like master classes in the art of accompaniment, and to my ears in a lot of the solos you do an amazing amount with not a whole lot of notes.

Your music has greatly enriched my life. Thank you.
