Vanessa and I went shopping for pillows at Wal-Mart. How can you tell if a pillow is going to work for you?

So, last weekend we hosted Jonathan Edwards at the Fur Peace Station. Jonathan is one of our most treasured living American artists in my opinion and he never disappoints! With his history here in Athens County of course it’s a Hometown Weekend for the Old Guard as well as folks from outside the area who just love his music. Good times!

And… I almost forgot. Thanks to John Hurlbut for reminding me at dinner tonight as we head down to Sanibel Island. A great opening set by Brother Hill. Great performance of originals by a fine young artist. Check out Brother Hill… btw… he played au natural… just a microphone, no electronics. (just some guitar geek stuff!) Bravo!
On October 1, 2022 we’ve got an event coming up that I have been looking forward to since the Covid Shutdown. Clay Parker and Jodi James. In a world where artistry would be predictably be honored, they would be right up there at the top of the list. I love everything about them… songs, music, harmony… everything. I’ll be there and you should be too!
On the same night, we also have Ordinary Elephant and I feel the same way about this duo as I do about Clay and Jodi. This is going to be a truly great night of music! Go to the Fur Peace Ranch site or click on this link for tickets. Oh boy indeed!
On another note, Vanessa is selling her 2019 Harley Davidson 48 Sportster.

This beautiful machine has less than 500 original miles on it. If you are seriously interested, please email Vanessa at vanessa@furpeaceranch.com.
Vanessa and I will be doing some intros at the Nelsonville Music Festival and I will also be shooting some drone footage for the folks. I updated my bird software and geofencing yesterday and tested it here at the Ranch.

Why don’t you get a My Pillow? I have several & they are good pillows.
Tried them years ago… didn’t really like them.
@Donald T
All she moved were 48 empty folders labeled “Top Secret”.
Thanks for Little Elephant plug. I’ve got their latest saved on streaming service and have a feeling I’m going to enjoy. Won’t be near any upcoming, otherwise I’d check them out. Someday, maybe.
These every-person human interest stories keep me coming back. Side sleeper myself, which makes matching pillow to mattress a chore if you don’t have a specific one in mind. If Ms. Kaukonen is dissatisfied with current pillow, Ikea is accommodating on customers pulling off shoes and settling in on bedding. I went with their down alternative. No bargain, but what is today?
When I was in high school in the early 70s, I would be riding around in my car with the radio on. If the song “Sunshine” came on, I would crank it up. Loved it. I never knew who the artist was. Until now. Jonathan Edwards. Made my day!
You didn’t move some papers from that shelf, did you? Owner is asking, and I can’t find them anywhere.
Right on Vanessa!!! That’s the way to do it but I hope you checked it for bed bugs first. You’re 48″ Harley would be just the ticket for me if I didn’t have this little problem I’m dealing with. That’s all I’d need is to have that show up at the house and the next week having to sell it at my funeral service (worst case scenario). This does remind me of a story I think you’ll find funny, I’ll pass it on to John. I usually have to cut two rounds off of the shock springs so my feet can touch the ground, I’m six foot tall from the waist up but I only have a 26″ inseam.
I hope you guys found some nice surrealistic pillows.
