Father’s Day with the Family. How good does it have to get. I am usually on the road. Holidays such as Father’s Day is usually celebrated with FaceTime at best and the phone at second best. To actually be with the gang on such an occasion… Priceless!

That was Sunday… Saturday night was a gig at the Loft. Another cool gig in the delightful world of Martha’s Vineyard.

My niece works at Japanese Restaurant in Portland Me. “Miyake’
The owner sent her & other employee’s to live with his family members in Japan for 6 weeks at a time. The owner wants the help to better understand The Culture & traditions of Japan. I understand the food is very good, but thats my niece talking.

You are truly blessed. I just finished “Been So Long” (what a page turner.) You have had an amazing life. I’ve been a Hot Tuna fan since the mid-seventies. “What a long, strange trip it’s been”, as Jerry once said. You are an inspiration to me (I’m 62.) You’ve kept the faith and kept things interesting. I enjoy watching your youtube channels and your blog. Keep on trucking!

    Beautiful, heart-warming picture.
I said to one of my sons on Fathers Day that the best part of being a father was him and his brother.
He said: “You couldn’t have done it without us.”
