Yeah, the Keswick… always a pleasure. Good to see old friends and a mighty show with Steve Bernstein!
Indeed, we went some more than interesting places and the conversation was fascinating! We’re going to have to converse again!

This is a short one… perhaps I’ll write more later tonight.
Thanks Steve, and thanks to our great audiences along the way. We couldn’t have don it without you!!!!!
Thanks Jorma for the 50 years of shows I’ve seen you play,Used to go to the Keswick as a boy growing up in Phila with my late Mother,Been blessed to see you and Jack there many times.Mmy friend used to promote you guys back during the rampage years. We have talked many times about everything from athletic shows to guitars and old times,Love you and am glad I cleaned my act up in 1987. God bless you and see you soon.
Looking forward to Parker in Ft. Lauderdale. Just shy of 50 years of Tuna under my belt. Sea Child definitely a favorite. Thanks for all the great memories.
Captain what a magical show! Hadn’t read your blog about playing w Steve the prior show, so my jaw was on the ground when he walked out. Huge fan of the Ramble horns, have seen Steve with Eric and Jay many many times. Had visions of Miles when I close my eyes. Just so sweet. Thank you for the memory. Rock on.
Awesome show at the Keswick! Thanks so much for swinging close enough for me to catch you guys on this run!
My very first electric Hot Tuna concert was Nov. 15, 1977 at the Warner Theater in DC. My last electric Hot Tuna concert will be this evening at the Warner Theater in DC, the 66th time I’ve seen Jorma, Jack and various associates in concert from coast to coast and places in between over these past 46 years. I kinda miss seeing the dimly lit barstool placed front and center stage with a mic stand, an Ovation Custom Legend and an Adamas adjacent to the barstool and a bottle of Heineken at the foot of the barstool, the taper section crowd setting up, Jorma’s opening solo acoustic performance ahead of bringing out the band, the five hour shows which were a bit of an endurance test for me etc. but I won’t miss the loud audience whistles, those repeatedly shouting Jorma’s name and Hot Fucking Tuna at the top of their lungs or the amplifiers sonic concussion leaving me with tinnitus by the end of the show where I could only hear as if my head was under water. All in all it’s been great fun and I look forward not only to this evening but to the ongoing acoustic endeavors Jorma and his team generate from the FPR. My sincere thanks to everyone on the historic Tuna team which is a long roster indeed and even to you crazies out in the audience. What a ride!
Well Jorma, it’s time to do my HT 1st step. Check myself into Tuna anonymous, 1 show ain’t enough, wait…280 and counting ain’t enough😁.
The only thing is, I don’t want a solution😊
By the way, I’ve brought countless newcomers😉
Seeya in Fl!
That was death.
Enjoyed the show last night Jorma!
Great performance by everyone.
Why no firebird?
Firebird’s are cool but nowhere near as versatile as and ES-345. The Stereo and the Varitone give it an endless palette of colors…
My turn doesn’t come until the Rex Benefits. Can’t wait. Will the black Strat be making an appearance?
The black Strat found a new home a long time ago. Truth be told, I’m not really a Strat guy although I’ve owned a number of them. The ES-345 is back at the head of the lineup as well as the Chet Atkins SST.
Sweet setlist! Very excited for Ft. Lauderdale show next week, been on the Tuna train since 1972. Hope we’ll get a Water Song. The beautiful tune has great personal meaning: in the early ’90s Jorma dedicated a rendition in memory of a dear one who we had recently lost.
Thanks for another great show Jorma and Jack. See you on the acoustic side soon!!!!!
Love this set list. 😍 I wonder if Keep on Truckin’ might be a possibility?
