Clearwater is a haul from from the Warner in D.C. but that’s why they call it being on the road. We are fond of this Capitol and it didn’t let us down. Rock and Roll saved the day as always!

Then a drive down the Gulf Coast to Alligator Alley to Ft. Lauderddale. Well it used to be called that I guess. I remember it as a two lane road with gators, snakes and an occasional panther all over the place.
It’s not a two lane anymore. 🙂
So it goes!
In Lauderdale it was the Parker Playhouse. Another venue we truly love. I remember we played New Year there in the waning moments of 2019 before Covid changed our world. It seems like a lifetime ago and in a way it was. Anyway, the Parker is a hall that loves electric music. Not all halls do. The audience rocked to the max along with us. Thanks y’all!

This been an enlightening trip for me and when I do my wrap up when we’re done I’ll way in on this in greater detail. In the meantime even though I’m heading home day after tomorrow… I’m doing laundry. Why go home with dirty clothes.
Onward!

We didn’t get a show in Chicago, but its been exciting and inspiring reading the blog posts and comments these last few weeks. What is clear is the significant impact that Hot Tuna, Jorma and Jack have made in so many lives and the love and positive energy between the band and fans which has grown over 50 decades. An amazing band and relationship. Congrats and many happy and healthy days ahead!
Great review and pictures from the Parker from GratefulWeb Enjoy

The Fort Lauderdale Parker show was superb, thanks so much…you, Jack, and Justin were amazing! A wonderful final electric show after 51 years of seeing Tuna. Sure hope it’ll be considered for official download release.
Only fitting to attend Thursday nights show at The Parker Playhouse. My journey with Hot Tuna began way back in the 1970’s at the Capital Theater in Passaic, New Jersey. My husband heard you play in New York City when you were members of Jefferson Airplane. Though much time has passed you are still one of my favorite bands. You are still so excellent.
Thank you for sharing your talents with all of us mere mortals. Thank you for taking me back in time. Be well and perhaps acoustic Hot Tuna will swing back to South Florida sometime soon.
Drove over the Sunshine Skyway Bridge from Sarasota to see you guys … ONE MORE TIME !!!
Yikes …
Peaceout
: )
I think I speak for all the attendees at the Parker with Y’all are very welcome. Thanks for making the schlep, if it’s any consolation I think Einstein’s theory says the ride home is always shorter than the ride out
Capitol Theater was a great one! Hope to see you guys there again soon. Water Song encore. I was seated front row center. Jack said something to me but I couldn’t hear him. Jack?
I like your thinking about coming home with clean clothes. That’s why I try and always rent a place with a washer and dryer when we’re traveling. See you at the Fillmore.
Great show at the Capitol Theater, Clearwater Wednesday night. The band was sounding as great as ever!
Hope you will come back through with the acoustic version of Hot Tuna.
Encore was Water Song
