Such a fantastic place! Reasonable ticket price-$35!
Cindy
Cundy when is marty playing at The Grounds for Sculpture? I’m only about 30 miles or so from there. @Cyndy Consentino
Teresa singing “Keep your Lamps” takes that song to a whole new level. Makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Snowing all day here on long island. You guys being on a warm sunny beach are just Ja-makin me crazy!
Rock Jamaica Jorma!
Phantasmagorical.
Steady As She Goes.
Up with Les Girls!
Beautiful set list!
Dusty, Hot Tuna played White Rabbit with Bob Weir on vocals at my first HT show, 10/28/83.
Oh,would I haved loved to seen Larry and Teresa sing White Rabbit with you guys!Wow! Enjoy Jamaica!
Dear Jorma,
Nice! I’m sure Teresa rocked White Rabbit!
About time it was brought back to life! Teresa in just the right lady for the job!
Grace would be proud!
Your old friend Marty Balin is playing two nights in my area,
Outpost in the Burbs in Montclair. and Grounds For Sculpture in Hamilton ,
NJ. I know you are playing at Outpost in May, but please look into getting acoustic
Tuna booked into Grounds for Sculpture! It is a fantastic place, and you guys would love it!
Also has a fabulous restaurant called Rat’s on the premises!
Enjoy the Jamaican sunshine:)
Cyndy
p.s. my dog Drake sends you warm woofs!
would have been better with Somebody to Love (just kidding). Looks like an awesome set list. I just happened to be listening to Smokerise Journey this morning. what a beautiful song.
I think you went into an area of music that was left untouched for many years for various reasons. Now, and no fault of your own (other than playing it) there will be loud-crazed screaming whack jobs asking for that song in every city. So, the question is WHAT DO YOU THINK???????
omina omina omina………I LIKE!
I think…I know …that I wish I had been there!
WOW…..Would have loved to see Teresa do White Rabbit – she rocks Keep Your Lamps..Maybe this is something you can add to the Beacon shows..just a thought.
Enjoy the rest of your stay.
Safe travels home
Hogan
🙂
WHITE RABBIT…Way to go Teresa!!
@Dusty
No, I did not miss Watkins Glen.
That was a whole bunch of something else, somewhere else!
@ Barbara Jacobs Re: Woodstock….here’s to mud in your eye, as it were. I know you recall the conditions. I was ALMOST 16 but the 25 had my brain bent toward Mars although home was 40 miles away. 73 Watkins Glen was more fan-friendly even though the masses were massive. What a day! Don’t tell me you missed that?
Whoa. White rabbit? Serious?
“FaceOnMars” is now here, joining us in our Jorma family.
“FaceOnMars” is my dear friend from Telluride.
Please welcome him to our little corner of cyberspace:
He’s a sweet, kind soul joining our Jorma comments section.
Whadda I think about that?!
It’s Heavenly, Jorma!
Hmmmm……I would dare declare that as a first (White Rabbit)? Correct me if I am wrong. I recall Charlotte 11/06 when Grace was in town with her art show. She was seated directly in front of me; catcalls from a moron for the tune and JK had to put an end to it all with Jack’s opening line. It was all handled very professionally but I had thought such protocol was taboo in your rulebook.
Let’s see. Hearing that set with you guys playing in Jamaica. And you want to know what I think? I think I’m looking at a bunch of snow up here in Connecticut and I wish I could be there!
