Sideways In Napa

Indeed, good old Hot Tuna wended it’s way up to the Uptown Theater in Napa, California. It’s been a while since I’ve been here, but it’s a beautiful place… as is the venue. We played with Bill Kreutzman’s band, the 7 Walkers and they were outstanding. Here is me and Papa Mali:

Happy birthday and fondest regards from a long time Tuna fan. One of my regular customers ( I’m in the restaurant biz.) is part of the Finlandia foundation and knew your father well. Apparently your dad and her dad founded the organization together. She is originally from Minneapolis: Susan Hodges is her married name. I do not know her pre-married last name. An old friend of Ry Cooder I believe.
Anyway, please get back to the Bay Area soon so we can continue the celebration. Happy Holidays,
