Roadsid repairs... Phil, Chris and Myron

Roadsid repairs... Phil, Chris and Myron

It’s been a hectic five days… the blog takes time and I just didn’t have it. Anyway, the trip from Portland to Seattle started with a breakdown by the side of the road with repairs orchestrated by our driver, the incomparable Chris Seay.

Finally... the Triple Door

Finally... the Tripple Door

We got to the Triple Door just in time for our last show with David Lindley.

Thanks for the fabulous show at the Egyptian Jorma. Come back for the Old Time Fiddle Festival, I think you and Barry would really enjoy it. And Thanks for embryonic journey, I was the fool yelling for it and I am glad I did.

All of you music is great, I have enjoyed it since 1967 when you played the Terrace Ballroom in Salt Lake, I was one of the guys working the light show. Jorma and Jack have been great musicians as long as I can remember. I have most of your music from then till now, play as long as you love it.

    God Bless

Really enjoying the photography dimension of your blog posts. They are all good – but, as someone who made his living from photography for over 20 years, I’d like to single out the excellent framing of Jack’s vertical shot of you (love the perfect angle)as well as Phil Jacob’s fun photo with finger and Oriental theater. Thanks.

Sorry to hear about your mechanical problems. It really stinks when you got no wheels. Glad to hear your back on road truckin’ again. Sounds like you guys need a break – just keep thinking Jamaica.

Exhausted just reading about your itinerary. Still making wonderful music after so many years. See you at the Keswick in Glenside when you return. Something to look forward to through this brutal mid-Atlantic winter.
